Jalousie Beach is one of the most picturesque areas I have ever been to. We visited on a slightly overcast, rainy day (as a part of a fantastic Cosol tour) and I was still in love! A beautiful beach and a great snorkel snuggled in between the two Pitons. Take your own snacks unless you're willing to pay US$15 for a burger at the Hilton beachside restaurant. more

We visited Jalousie Beach on two days in July of 2007. The beach has imported white sand, which was only a minor improvement over the native sand we'd encountered elsewhere on the island. Recently went to this beach as part of a tour that I booked while on a cruise. I had about one hour to enjoy this beach and wish that I had more time there. There were beach chairs for rent $20 a chair and food but it was VERY expensive. I am not sure that if you stayed at the... more
