We were at the RTB Resort in Negril from 6-30-08 thru 7-4-08 and it was the best time ever. We were somewhat anxious due some of the negative reviews we read here on Tripadvisor. None of the negative reviews were our experience, quite the opposite. Do not let any of the negative reviews stop you from going to this resort.... more

Negril is 1.5 hours from the airport in an air conditioned bus. You get to see a bit of the countryside on the way. It is worth the trip. We stayed at the Riu Tropical Bay for 2 weeks. We stayed at the riu tropical bay from 22nd June-6th July. We were situated in block 4 which was a refurbished block with a key card for the door and an electronic safe.
