The rooms were well-appointed. The decorating was simple but expressive of the history of the hotel. The grounds were outstanding, and the food was a pleasure. The Sunday buffet was delightful. I most say this is one of the most "bellas" haciendas I have seen in the new continent. The grounds and gardens are full of tropical flowering plants. The place is wonderful. Visting the Ex-Hacienda de Cortes is a romantic experience. In my opinion this former House of the Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortes is one of the most authentic of the Mexican haciendas. It is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Moreover, they charged twice the hotel room to the credit card and after two weeks they have been absolutely unable to fix the problem. I recommend not to visit this place as the management is totally unprepared to help customers and solve problems. more
