We got this room on sale, for much less than is typical in West Edmonton. That's why we booked there. The location was convenient to everything we wanted, and it was convenient for those coming in from the west. The room was just fine. It was a little older, but the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and it... more

I am self-employed and had booked two nights in order to attend a client workshop. I checked the reservation - made directly through the Mayfield Inn website - the day before and everything was in order. Upon arrival I was asked if I would prefer a "renovated" room (which was on the second floor and the elevator wasn't working) or... more

We stayed at the Mayfield Inn for one night on Saturday, March 15, 2008, while in Edmonton with a girl's soccer team. We had read the reviews on TripAdvisor of the property before our departure; however, we did not have choice in accommodation, so we simply hoped for the best. We booked through a travel agent dedicated to travel bookings... more

Booked a jacuzzi room over the phone, at check-in nobody had my reservation. Front-desk chalked it up to "in-experienced" employees. Ended with a tiny old, dark, dirty, smelly room for a hefty price. I don't care how great the location is....would never ever waste another dollar at this place. more

I checked in later in the evening and the staff were a breath of fresh air. Michael at the front desk had me laughing and feeling a little less stressed within minutes. I had to meet with some co-workers so they arranged to have my bags brought to my room for me, without my having to ask. My room was... more

The room seemed quite old and the elevator was extremely slow. I expected much more for my $375/night stay. We stayed in their Fireplace and Jacuzzi Room. Check-in was a little slow but the staff was courteous. I was unable to find an ice machine on the floor so I called the front desk, the person that answered did not... more

My husband and I stayed at the Mayfield Inn because there was a coin show hosted there and he was the vice president of the coin club. We try to stay in the hotel where the show is going on because it’s usually a late night as all of our friends fly in from all over the country twice a... more

We have stayed very regularly at the Mayfield over the past ten years, but based on our last two visits have decided not to return. The prices have risen steadily and are now ridiculously high for the service you get. The rooms are crowded, dark, and badly in need of upgrading. On our last visit we could not check into... more

We purchased a package for 8 that included theatre tickets, our rooms and a buffet breakfast in the morning. The supper we ate before the show was amazing and delicious and the show that night was very entertaining. We were a little disappointed at the first floor courtyard rooms however as they were small, old and a dark. I hate... more

Horrible experience. Filthy room. The toilet was dirty. The man at the counter did not speak english. There is a rowdy bar next door that was extremely loud that kept me awake. The dinner theatre next door was awsome. Great food and very entertaining. more
