Hotel room was just OK. The view was mostly blocked by the other surrounding buildings. The location was convieniently near restaurants on Robson st. Lots of high end shopping if you like that (we didn't). Front desk and houskeeping were friendly enough. more

The Sutton Place is a excellent hotel. My room was very comfortable, and well appointed. Daily service is top notch. The restaurant and room service menus are quite tasty. The room rate was not commensurate with the quality of the room. This is not a 4 star hotel-- a 3 star hotel at best. The room was very tired and worn: the bedding was poor quality--very shabby and old; the mattress was not of the quality you get at 4 star hotels; the toilet was rusted out; the bathroom... more

This was a very clean, upscale hotel. We had a view of the city from our room (1212). The concierge downstairs was very helpful. The only drawback was the breakfast. The buffet was $23 per person which is absolutely ridiculous. But, I would definitely stay there again and just eat breakfast at the Crepe Cafe right around the corner instead. more

Nice location, but the rooms, while clean and well maintained, are dated. Hotel takes lots of big groups, so the lobby can be a madhouse. Breakfast buffet is not worth the money. more
