My husband and I just returned from 3 nights at the Prince George. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing. We asked several different people for help and directions and they all went above and beyond the call of duty. They were sincerely interested in helping us enjoy our stay.... more

We stayed here for a night when we were in Halifax to see a concert at the Metro Centre next door to the Prince George. We found the property starting to feel somewhat dated. The hallways in particular are in need of a refreshing. The room was nice though. The pool area was kept nicely as well and the breakfast... more

We have stayed at the Prince George Hotel on several occasions and it is always our first choice when staying in Halifax. From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the doorman and the front desk staff, each staffer makes you feel like you are their only guest. All are attentive and call you by name. You are... more

We stayed in the Prince George two nights while traveling around Nova Scotia. Excellent location. We parked our car on the arrival and retrieved it when we were leaving. Everything in Halifax is within walking distance from the hotel. We had a room an the third floor on the water side and had a pretty good viewof the harbor from... more

My wife and I recently stayed at the Prince George Hotel and what an experience! From the moment we arrived we knew it was going to be great. We were greeted by very friendly staff who were not the "fake type" of friendly you find in some other high-end hotels. We were given a room on the Crown Floor which... more

I took my 86 year old father to Halifax to see the Tattoo. The hotel is next door to the arena and close to everything. We ate at Gio (their restaurant) a few times on our visit and had the best food ever! Our waitress, Nicole, was the best and especially good to my Dad. The hotel is beatiful and... more

Highly recommended for many reasons: the large, well-appointed rooms, attractive interior, an excellent restaurant and (especially) the courteous and helpful staff. The hotel is unprepossessing on the outside but its location and amenities are hard to beat. They get all the small things right, which is what I'm looking for in a hotel. more

We spent 3 wonderful nights here culminating with the festivities for Canada Day on July 1. We were able to attend the Nova Scotia Tatoo in the Halifax dome just across the street as well as view the holiday fireworks from the 6th floor of the hotel. The location can't be beat- just below the Citadel and a a few blocks... more

This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at and definitely the best place we stayed at on our recent trip. My wife and I were there for part of our honeymoon as we traveled around Nova Scotia. It is very upscale but the prices are only moderately higher than hotels like the Holiday Inn or Days Inn.... more

If you find yourself in Halifax, or indeed at the convention centre, the Prince George is the place to stay. Rooms are large with every facility. They have an iron in the room, a coffee machine, a window that opens, an extraordinarily large flat screen TV with one million channels and a really good bed. Yeah, the bed: warm, good,... more
