This was my first stay in Montreal and I will very likely return to stay at Auberge Les Passants du Sans Soucy. The room was clean and beautiful. The only downside was that the rooms in the front of the building are a bit noisy at night and in the early morning. However, the upside---huge windows that opened on to... more

So you can get an good idea of this place from the other reviews. Here's what I would have to add: 1) The magnificent room were marred by the occasional remodeling sloppiness (a part of the drywall above the door was not painted, the caulk around the sink and shower were sloppy). 2) The floor in 204 (this may be... more

Our recent stay at Auberge Les Passants du Sans Soucy was entirely enjoyable. This was our first time in Montreal, and being a history buff with a love of architecture, I was very glad i decided to stay on "Old Montreal". MOntreal is certainly a nice mix of old and new; but the quaintness of the old cobblestoned streets, rows... more

This place is an absosute gem, right in the heart of old montreal. The staff, especially Daniel and Martin were extremely helpful in every way possible. The room we stayed was stunning. I don't want to give too much away but this hotel is an absolute must stay if your in montreal. more

I'd never been to Montreal before and had been looking forward to visiting the city for some time. I wanted a comfortable B&B experience in the old part of town, in an authentic old stone building. The Sans Soucy proved to be parfait, without problems, and a charming choice. The staff are all friendly and personable. Martin (at the front... more

Wonderfully welcoming, extremely comfortable. Very helpful staff, excellent breakfasts with interesting fellow travellers at table. Terrific location in Montreal, in the heart of history, fine restaurants, bistros, quaint boutiques. more

We booked a two night stay last minute at this old Inn, and we can't wait to go back this winter! It was a beautiful place, and the owners and staff were very helpful. We stayed in two different rooms - both lovely. The made-to-order omelettes were excellent, and the homemade croissants were fabulous! The location can't be beat. more

Rooms very comfortable, very clean, good breakfast, staff accomodating, location in old Montreal very good for walking the waterfront, steps from History Museum, and within walking distance to Place des Arts for symphony, theatre, and art museum. Two great restaurants nearby: Restaurant Bonaparte ( directly behind Sans Soucy) and Club Chasee et Peche were both especially memorable. more

This is a fabulous small hotel on the most convenient and interesting street in Vieux Montreal. The breakfast, which is included, was wonderful, served by the owner, Daniel Soucy. The hotel staff was so helpful in giving directions and recommendations on good restaurants. more

Stayed here for 5 nights in mid September with my college roommate...both celebrating birthdays....we're of a certain age. Because we needed the only room with 2 beds I'd booked this months in advance, based on reading about the Auberge in "1001 places to see before you die". The room was very pleasant, well appointed. Overlooked the Rue St. Paul, which... more
