We just finished a 10 day tour of Ireland where Dublin was our first stop. The Trinity Capital Hotel in Dublin is in an excellent location - walking distance to everything we wanted to do ( Trinity College & The Book of Kells, the Hop On/Hop Off Bus to attractions like the Guinness Factory, excellent pubs and dining). Its funky... more

I stayed at Trinity with 2 of my friend for the Westlife concert on 1st June. We chose this hotel again as we had a lovely stay last year. We got there at 11.30am and were told our rooms would be ready at 2pm. We didn't mind, got our bags stored and went out shopping. We got back at 2pm... more

We have just enjoyed our 3rd weekend break in Dublin.Initially we tried to book the same hotel we had stayed at previously but enquiring the tariff I was advised it was 740.00Euro for 3 nights which was nearly twice what we had paid 12 months previous. On enquiring why there was a substantial increase I was advised Neil Diamond was... more

Would highly recommend this hotel. The location is fab, only 5 min walk to the centre. The overall theme and decor of the hotel was stunning. Our rooms were spotless and modern. Had absolutely no problems with check in. The breakfast was a little expensive at 15 Euros but it was very good. The only down side was that the... more

Stayed here two nights on May 27-28. Flight got in early, so went directly to the hotel at 8:30a.m. Front reception said our rooms would not be ready until 2p.m. so we went and strolled Dublin for a few hours. Came back to the hotel at noon hoping the rooms would be ready early but they weren't. We slept in... more

4 of us stayed here for the weekend for my boyfriends mums birthday. The hotel itself was nice could not fault rooms, decor or staff. However I asked for a quiet room at the back which I got but it is backing onto the fire station! It's a joke you can hear everything even with windows closed sirens, putting ladders... more

Avoid - we got double booked by this hotel and directed the wrong way round Dublin's one way system to a replacement hotel that was booked by them. They blamed a software problem for the double-booking. No attempt was made to contact us beforehand which could have saved a lot of trouble. more

We stayed at the Trinity Capital 2 days before our car tour in ireland. We loved the design of the hotel. It was great (you need to love purple). The staff was very nice but 2 downfalls. No air conditioning in the room. It was so hot... and no wifi or internet connnexion in the room. For a 4 stars... more

Booked this place 3 weeks in advance through their own hotel website & they took a deposit from our card. On arrival was given some [-]about a problem with their online booking that day & that no rooms were available. In fairness they had booked us into Jury's on Customhouse quay ,which was excellent & would stay here next time... more

The hotel is in the same block as the Dublin Fire Brigade which did not disturb me in spite of me having a room on the first floor overlooking the fire trucks. They do not start the sirens while in the compund ... The room was spaciuos and very clean. i also appreciate the free internet access and that the... more
