Scots is a fantastic hotel in the middle of Killarney town which is perfect for ease of coming and going at night, no taxi's - which are very hard to get. Just had one night at the scotts garden during the Killarney summerfest. It was clean, centrally located and lively. The dining room was massive and had no atmosphere and we didn't see anyone in it all the time we were there apart from at breakfast. Great location and a decent property. Food was lousy, but it's in the middle of town, so there are lots of alternatives. Room and beds were comfortable. There is a pretty good pub attached to the hotel. more

The best hotel of Ireland I loved staying at the Scott's. I stayed the Oct of 2000, 2002, and 2003 for five days each year. They had very nice service. The rooms are clean and very good full breakfast. I even like the bar longue for hotel residents more

Stayed at the Scott's Garden two nights in March, 2004. Nice large American type rooms. Beautiful furniture. Quiet. Located close to everything in downtown Kilarney. Very happy at Scott's Garden. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Ask for a corner room. more
