The Holiday Inn Schwabing appeared to be mainly a business hotel. It is located on Leopoldstrasse on the bus line number 123 which connects to the Munchener Freiheit subway station. Stayed in this hotel back in the 1970's, it was very popular then, it was build for 1972 olympic games. Today, it looks from the outside, like a barcode, 3 identical eastern German style blocks( even if this is in Western Germany). I can't understand the bad reviews - obviously the place has undergone a refit since they were written. Stayed for 1 night in Sep. Very Disappointing. Room had poor quality fittings and only one sheet on the bed. On top of that it was very noisy. Hotel is on main avenue.
