A Vienna-based chain found an off-the-beaten path site to place this modern, concept hotel, and it mostly worked out. The front desk was consistently helpful, as was the barman. My friend and I stayed here last weekend and loved the hotel. Arcotel is in the perfect location - walking distance to the tourist sights and shops, and right on the main street for bars and restaurants, so no need to walk far or use public transport at night. 30 seconds walk to the U-Bahn if you don't enjoy walking.... more

Two couples spent 3 nights at the Velvet in late November. It's unique, interesting, and comfortable. Felt special staying there. Good location with public transportation at the door. A modern, stylish hotel, the Arcotel Velvet was meant to be a little bit special, given that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary there.
