If I had to travel to Rome a second time, I would select a place closer to town. This might be a good choice for a business traveler, but the access to downtown was highly inconvenient. The shuttle was nice and the service in the shuttle excellent. The service at the front desk was good and the quality of the... more

the reason why I booked this hotel is because I had to attend a party at the concert hall, which is 5 minutes away by cab, and it was the cheapest 4 stars (120€) Our room was quite small, but it was very clean and had quite a big bathroom if we had to compare it with the room itself.... more

We stayed in this hotel late June 2008. The hotel is in a quiet residential area but if you are organised and book yourself onto the courtesy mercedes bus into Rome it isnt really a problem. We felt the hotel was wonderful....real attention to detail. The breakfast was perfect with anything you could possibly want. A large table full of... more

We were a group of 20+ travelers, part of a university alumni tour of Italy. Rome was our last stop of a 12 day tour, and our stay at the Duke was fabulous. We purposefully chose hotels away from the crowds in each of our stops - believing that it's good to be in the rush during the day when... more

This is a very nice hotel in a quiet section north of the Villa Borghese/Borghese Gardens. Customer service was top notch (arrived at 10 a.m. after an overnight flight from the US and our room was ready), breakfasts were above average. Room was a bit small and bed was very uncomfortable but otherwise clean and appealing enough for the little... more

An excellent hotel with great rooms and excellent facilites. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Although out of the centre of Rome, we found this to be a benefit. The free shuttle bus allowed us to travel into the centre of Rome with minimal fuss. Close to restaurants and the train. Would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a... more

This hotel was great, situated a little out of the city centre in a residential area, with a free shuttle bus running approximately hourly, to a parking area near the Spanish Steps. The hotel was very clean and the room was larger than average, for a city hotel. The food, breakfast and evening meals, were excellent and all at a... more

The hotel although a couple of miles from Central Rome - is AWESOME - the facilities, the cleanliness, the friendly staff and the shuttle service... more
