Our group of 16 members, ranging in age from 10 to 67, stayed at the Hotel Madrid for 3 nights prior to embarking on a 12-night Western Mediterranean cruise. Our accommodations consisted of 3 suites and 2 double rooms. Hotel Madrid far exceeded our expectations and the staff, in addition to being highly efficient, was courteous, personable and extremely helpful.... more

Stayed in two rooms (double and triple) during Spring Break in April. This was our second of three hotels during our stay in Italy and it was nice. It is a small, boutique hotel. Husband and I had one room. Mother and two sons (12 and 13) shared a triple with queen bed and twin. Rooms were small, especially with... more

Just returned from a 3-day break in Rome, staying at the Hotel Madrid. We had one of the family suites, double bed in one room, twin beds in the other room for our 2 boys (14 and 10). The rooms were not huge, but perectly adequate. The bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower and plenty of big... more

We found the hotel to be one of the best experiences in the world. We stayed there for 3 nights, and couldn't get over how nice the service was. We'd definitely do it all over again. more

Loved this hotel. Great location. 2 minutes to the Spanish steps and the metro. But you can pretty much walk to lots of places around Rome. Not the Colosseum or the Forum, but lots of other places. The room was for 5. This was a great place. Only small complaint was there is a loud night club right below the... more

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome. It is centrally located in the heart of the city. You can easily walk to any big attraction from here. The hotel staff was wonderful, very friendly, spoke perfect english and definitly helped out when I couldn't find a place on the map (given to me by the staff). The... more

We stayed at the Hotel Madrid for 3 nights with our two daughters (age 11 and 20) during spring break in March. We choose the hotel based on the trip advisor ratings, especially the ones that discussed the family suites. It was ideal for us. We had booked the suite that slept 5 (even though there were only 4 -... more
