We stayed only 1 night in a hotel on the South Island - the rest of our trip was in a campervan. Had we stayed indoors longer, I would have loved to spend it in the Chalet Queenstown. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Lakeview room for 4 nights. View was very pretty. Breakfast was quite tasty and healthy with unlimited fruits. Cheeses, yogurt, cereals, cold cuts to choose for breakfast. Toilet was a bit small, but room was quite clean. Bed was very comfortable with different pillows for you to choose. I spent a week in Queenstown, which was very memorable partly due to the wonderful hospitality at The Chalet.
