Stayed there for a week with family. Goods: location, right on Washington Circle. Walking distance to Georgetown and to the Foggy bottom Metro and pretty much everything else; staff very good and friendly; clean and well maintained; kitchen was great eventhough we did not use it much; small pool to cool down and nice for kids; came with complimentary parking.... more

My first impression when I entered the room was disappointment. We stayed in "supposedly" the best suite in the hotel, The Grand State Room. However, the room had a musty odor and the color of the rooms are a mustard color. I noticed the rugs were stained and the funiture and walls were worn and old. The lighting was dark... more

I stayed for four nights in August 2008, and am surprised to see the negative comments. I had stayed for a week in December 2006 and was delighted with the facilities, as I was again on this trip. The full kitchen is great for extended stays. Cleaning was spotless throughout. The rooms are large with A/C that was very efficient.... more

I booked One Washington Circle with great trepidation after reading the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor and wanted to let you all know what a great experience we had. OK, it helped that we were upgraded from a corporate suite to a deluxe penthouse when the room we booked wasn't ready when we checked in. But even my cousins, who booked... more

We just returned from a 7 night trip to DC and were pleasantly surprised with our accomodations at the Circle Hotel. The location was perfect- Only 1 block away from the metro and in a very safe neighborhood (actually part of the GWU campus). Some reviewers have complained about the sirens from the GWU trauma unit. I found that the... more

Recently, my family and I stayed at One Washington Circle Hotel and we were nothing but discusted. Upon arrival, both people at the front desk hardly spoke English and refused to put us in the room that we had reserved although we had the confirmation reservation printed out with us. Our request of a non-smoking room was fulfilled although we... more

This hotel is in a very nice location in the city. It's right near the Orange Metro line that can take you to the National Mall and near many restaurants/bars. It's also directly across from a hospital, which unfortunately means sirens; thus, country dwellers might find it too loud. My room was very cheap due to construction they were doing... more

As we needed to be in Washington DC for 5+ days, we wanted to find a suite hotel with a kitchen and a little more space. We also wanted to avoid the $650+ per night prices of the 5-star hotels we’re most accustomed to and were willing to live with a little less luxury for a week. We moved to... more

We stayed in a Grand Stateroom for 5 nights. It was great. My 11-year old son says, AWESOME. The room had a separate bedroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, 1 ½ bathrooms, a giant balcony overlooking the blooming trees and Washington Circle. Unlike other reviewers, we found it to be quiet enough, very few sirens but an occasional guy yelling... more

I found this hotel through a special deal being offered through Expedia, which essentially got me the room at about $65/night. I'm glad I got the deal because the hotel would definitely have been disappointing if I had paid $100 or more since most things seemed to not quite be up to their 4-star par. For example, I had requested... more
