The villas are great. Nice furnishings with a great full kitchen. Grounds are beautiful and well tended. Pool is great which is good because there is really no swimming beach, lots of sea grass. Location is excellent. Grocery stores within a block and everything else within walking distance but, far enough away so you don't get the noise from town.... more

Great staff, nice room, and perfect location. It was a bit pricey for us at a $175, but we had a full kitchen and a nice view of the ocean, so I feel we got our money's worth. The pool is simple, but clean - a pool bar without a bartender is useless though unless you got a big group... more

Looking back at our trip now, the Tradewinds was a highlight as far as hotels go. These rooms are actually condos. We travelled with friends so we rented an entire unit, up and downstairs. There was a connecting door at the bottom of the stairwell that we could open to connect the units. We were in a pool side unit.... more

My husband and I recently stayed at Tradewinds paradise villas. We booked our trip thru the U.S. office Belize tradewinds ( a wholesaler for Belize). The villas were clean (daily housekeeping) had a kitchenette,dinette,livingroom with cable tv,(MANY AMENITIES). Decorated so cute....a great tropical feeling. I and a friend split a 2 bedroom/1 bath condo at Paradise Villas in late January '08. We paid $175 per day for a gardenside room in high season. I'd advise the poolside rooms if you're a light sleeper because the traffic on middle street behind the resort can get a litle noisy. That would be my only "complaint" though.... more
