Take a torch... this hotel is without doubt the dingiest and dirtiest hotel I have ever seen try to pass itself off as a business hotel. First impressions aren't too bad- the lobby is spacious, with a high, curiously metallic ceiling and a rather dated looking 24 hour cafe off to one side. The first clue that this isn't going... more

Pretentious hotel owned by Moammar Qadaffi. Staff were fairly efficient, but we were quoted USD 210/night and they ended up adding all manner of compulsory extras that brought it up to USD300/night - which we did NOT appreciate. The Sarova Stanley did not do this. The room was adequate - nothing more. The usual cautions about walking about Nairobi apply... more
