We came back from the Phenicia at the end of August. We had a fantastic time. There was my husband and i and our two teenagers. They had a fab time every night and made loads of friends. The food was fantastic as was the service. You dont have to tip but a couple of dinars goes a long way.... more

We just arrived from tunisia and I was quite disapointed by the hotel:the entertaiment sucks, the food is horrible and if you are under 40 years old there are pretty good chances that only 4 5 people are your age.So there's nothing to do in the night after 10 pm.If you want peace and quite than go there but if you... more

Returned to UK on 7 Sept. 08 having spent 1 week at the Hotel Phenicia, with First Choice. The rep 'Jo' was very helpful and accomodating to our needs. Arrived at hotel in an air conditioned coach which was lovely as it was so HOT. Registration in the disco area was tiresome and the forms a drag. Room was basic... more

We have just returned from a week’s stay at the Iberostar Phenicia. I was getting worried as there have been some pretty bad reviews lately but we had a fantastic time and would definitely return. On arrival we were allocated a room overlooking the pool which was a fantastic location although we were disappointed with the size and condition of... more

My family and I stayed at the Iberostar for 14 days at the end of August. Whilst we would agree with the comments from other guests that it was a nusiance having to reserve sunbeds, there were, as we were informed, plenty to go around 800 in total. You could easily get a bed on the beach and the smaller... more

We spent 4 days here at the end of August and the experience was pretty positive. I understand the complaints about the school-canteen dining room , the lack of variety in the food and the difficulty in capturing a sun-bed, but these were more than compensated for us by other factors. The food, though lacking variety, was of good quality.... more

We spent 14 nights at the Phenicia this summer. It was a fantastic experience right from the start. A great welcome, arriving at 10:30 pm there was food available. Rooms are comfortable, although simply furnished, aircon was absolutely necessary! The Hotel catered well for our 3 kids, aged 13, 12 & 8, with plenty of activities. Staff were great -... more

My family and i have travelled many places around the world and stayed in many hotels so our expectations are pretty high. When booking the Phenicia hotel in Tunisia we were assured that it was the second best in their country and rated at 4* +. However, on arrival we were sent to an unmade room, with dirty twoels and... more

Not the most luxurious Iberostar we have stayed in, but definitely, to date, our favourite. Hotel is in a great location situated right on the most wonderful beach with the most beautifully warm sea. Sunbeds at the beach (also at the pool) are free and have very comfortable thick mattresses, however you need to get up pretty early to get... more
