We've spent 5 nights at Funky Fish in a Rock-Lobster Bure and we enjoyed it !!! These Bures are simple but absolutely nice. The best thing at Funky Fish is its very very friendly staff and the people you could meet. They helped us with everything and were always good for a chat :-) We used the resort as a... more

Well, we stayed here when it was opening week and I think we were the only guests at the resort, except for one other woman who stayed two nights or so. So we were treated very exceptionally. Very friendly waiter Jo and waitress Emily (our daughter's name). Even though the swimming pool was still having its deck built, they let... more

Thank you Funky Fish for a fantastic time. All the staff were incredibly friendly, the owners took time to sit down with us and get to know us and you could genuinely tell that they loved their job. Food was terrific and we were never bored there. Originally we had intended on staying 6 days however we stayed an extra... more

The Funky fish resort was just what was needed after a stressful business trip in Nadi. The Malolo Cat was pretty quick and my longboat was waiting for me. I stayed in a private double room in the dormitory. It was surprisingly quiet- though more than half full. Guests can do whatever they want. There are kayaks and snorkels to... more

Having travelled to HK, Sydney and NZ first, we were ready for a rest. And that was what we got...the perfect place to lie round the pool, in a hammock, chill out at the bar etc. The staff were amazing and made the experience all the better. We stayed in one of the small double bed bures. It is certainly... more

My husband and I stayed at Funky Fish Beach Resort for 2 nights on our way back to Australia from Canada. We arrived very early in the morning after a long tiring flight from Vancouver. We had to wait a long time in the airport before our transfer showed up to take us to Denauru Marina where we caught the... more

The Funky Fish beach resort in Fiji is a wonderful place to stay. Even before we arrived the staff were very helpful in setting up our reservations and transfers. The Funky Fish, like most other resorts in Fiji is very secluded and after landing in Nadi you have to take a 30 min bus and then an hour long ferry... more

Funky Fish is a little gem set in the Mamanuca Islands. It is conveniently located just 40mins by ferry from Nadi. All transport to and from the ferry was complimentary and was arranged on our behalf. There are 3 ferries each way every day which make Funky Fish very accessable from the main land. The resort has its own private... more

We stayed at the FF at the end of our trip in Fiji. I would like to say after we stayed at the Sheraton, very nice but just another resort. Then the Shangri la Fijian Resort, which was a huge disappointment for the money. Service and quality were not there, completely overrated! However, our trip became very memorable when we... more

We stayed here for a fabulous 4 days immediately after the latest coup d'etat. Thye place was completely unaffacted, but tens of thousands of people cancelled their vacations, and that led to hundreds of Fijians being laid off. The Funky Fish is a budget resort, run by ex international rugby coach Brad Johnstone. The rooms are basic but good, the... more
