WOW! What a trip to beautiful Bosque del Cabo. We stayed there in Casa Blanca, a home just perfect for couples or whole families. It is located above the ocean and just perfect to sit on the porch and watch the Pacific Ocean. The whole area, the 750 acres, is so safe to be at. Its on the south-west tip... more

Well, I can't say very much that hasn't been said about BDC. I think that the last reviewer hit the nail on the head. I will try and comment on the items that stood out. Location: Great location. Stunning grounds. The trees and other plants are all enormous. Think Jurassic Park (but replace dinosaurs with monkeys). Food: The food was... more

After reading the previous comments, I feel it's necessary to put my two cents worth in. This was our 6th trip to Bosque (we've travelled all around CR) - but always end up back at Bosque!! Imagine having the wildlife co-existing with you... AMAZING. We also stayed at Casa Blanca and LOVED it. It was the most relaxing time ever.... more

All the reviews of this place were so great that my only worry was that it wouldn't live up to my expectations - I'm pleased to report that it more than lived up to its reputation. As long as you know what you're getting into - a cabina in the rainforest, you'll be fine. That means if you go during... more

We spent 2 nights in Casa Blanca at Bosque del Cabo.My parents my mother in law (73 years old),my husband, and my sons 7, 16, years old. We originally booked this cabin for whole week. First impression of the house was dirty and shabby everywhere you look. Toilet seats were not changed for long time and it was bubbly and... more

If you're looking for overwhelming wildlife, dramatic views, friendly caring staff that go above & beyond, luxe rooms, an honest commitment to sustainability and great food - look no further than Bosque del Cabo. I've tried over the years to find other places that could come close and have stayed a very nice places but still none can compare which... more

From our first contact with Bosque del Cabo, our experience was a dream come true. Our flight from San Jose on Nature Air was booked by their staff. We were picked up at the airport in Puerto Jimenez, and treated to several fantastic wildlife experiences during the 45 minute jeep ride to Bosque del Cabo. It was well past lunch... more

From the moment we arrived in Puerto Jimenez we were in awe of the beauty.....Frank met us and began by pointing out a tree with about a dozen scarlet macaws......we stopped by the grocery store ,which is a MUST if you are staying at Casa Miramar, and then began the drive to Bosque....the adventure began with a tree blocking the... more

This was our favourite Costa Rica location where we stayed for 4 nights. We were in a cabin nearest the ocean, and although we could not see the water below, we heard the waves rolling ashore a few hundred metres down the the cliffs. Also during the night, we would hear the insects and sounds from the rainforest. Our awesome... more

We just returned from 5 nights at Bosque del Cabo. We spent 1 night in the Mariposa, which is deluxe, and 4 nights in the Pizote, which is standard. I found both very comfortable. The Mariposa has a queen bed, larger bath with outdoor tub, and a patio overlooking the ocean. It is the end cabina and is a bit... more
