This resort has recently been renovated. Pictures don't do it justice. We booked through Interval International. There online pictures were even outdated. The resort was very nice as well as the service from staff. Mesa was filled with malls, but we went to sedona and the grand canyon for an overnight during our week stay at the painted mountain. Don't... more

Extremely nice. Very Clean (even though we did not get housekeeping service while we were there). We simply asked for clean towels. Took my 80 year old Dad to visit the real west. He saw Tombstone, Grand Canyon, Tortilla Flats, etc.....He loved everything about the trip. Only negative is lack of parking near your unit. Many times we had quite... more

We had a two-bedroom unit - and the space was fabulous!!! Plenty of room for three couples. One of the bathrooms was big enough to sleep two as well. Great kitchen - loads of equipment for real cooking/eating, not just snacks. Really comfy leather sofas, great views from the balcony. Golf was super, and the Grandview Steakhouse was kitschy but... more

The Grand Vista was a pretty nice resort. With the exeption of this one crazy senile lady, the staff was polite. They lobby/clubhouse had a businnes center which was nice (had a computer with internet and a fax ect.) We had a one bedroom unit. It was a decent size. The jaccuzi tub was nice, but was the same size... more

My husband and I swapped a week at Sheraton Vistana Village for this resort. What a mistake. Let me first say upon arrival the grounds looked ok and we thought this is going to be alright however when we opened the door to the room we were shocked. Extemely outdated. The furnishings were worn, the carpet was dirty and the... more

I started staying at Painted Mt. several years ago and arranging reservations for a group of golfers. I have always had the friendliest service and great units. My wife and I have stayed a week there twice and 2 years ago we took our granddaughter to Arizona for 2 weeks for her graduation present. This January we are planning on... more

I expected a balcony with a view of some kind, poor layout for people who like to sit outside. I checked twice before leaving about any charges to our room, NIL I was told and expected as we had not used the phone or any other extra facilities. After returning home I had a charge for a rental, I assume... more
