The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. The renovations are almost complete, and I didn't hear them working on anything during our stay. We booked this directly, got a great rate from the hotel and then, when we checked in, received an even lower rate! While we were there during the last two days of renovations, our stay was way beyond our expectations. Stayed her for 2 nights on a 3 week tour of Cali. Booked it on the recommendations of this site (Was no. 1 in LA at the time!) and having paid over the odds for a 3 star (?) hotel was very disappointed.
