After all sort of problems at Airport and with American Airlines(lost luggage, flight delays, missed connections) , this hotel give all the support I needed and further beyond. Absolutely first class service, great location and fair prices. For business purpose has avoided me more problems than I already had during that time. The two issues that I had were solved... more
Stayed here prior to sailing out on our cruise. This is a large busy hotel that had several conventions & parties taking place-including the Marine Corp Ball. They have a restaurant on-site which is pricey. The morning of our cruise, I took the advice of travelers who posted on the web to eat at a restaurant/hotel next door. Their morning... more
I recently stayed at the Hyatt for a business conference. The hotel was fine - not great, not terrible. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel faciliates are acceptable. Downtown Miami does clear out at night, but there are decent restaurants within walking distance from the hotel near the marina. Enjoy! more
I was in Miami for a night and booked this hotel through priceline. We got a rate of $65. I was nervous about staying at the Hyatt based on mixed reviews. Upon our arrival we were relieved. The room were were assigned was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Although the room was new, it seemed a bit tacky and lacked... more
Overall, very good customer service from employees. However, we encountered some problems not normally associated with bigger hotels. We drew the bath and got dirty water which was not warm at all. I contacted Jennifer, the desk supervisor. She was courteous and professional. She assured me that both engineering and housekeeping would immediately respond to the room. Neither happened but... more
I stayed here for a conference - the conference was held in the center within the hotel, which was very convenient...however, I wouldn't want to stay in downtown Miami if I was a tourist. The hotel itself was great - the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The gym was nice (even if it is small) and the restaurants were... more
I stayed here 4 nights with my husband who was in for a trade show at the hotel. We had to stay here since the trade show was in the hotel but it was not bad hotel. We came in on a Saturday and the hotel price was way overpriced for Saturday ($300) but it lowered to $175 for Sun-Tues... more
We stayed in the Hyatt during Easter weekend before our cruise. The hotel was very nice. We were on the 23rd floor above the river. There was lots of construction outside but we didn't hear anything because of the high floor. The room was great. It was very clean and new looking. We ate at the bar one night. The... more
I was here for a convention and it is every thing that a typical business hotel is (especially the prices). The renovations seem to be just about done and the previous problems reported in other reviews seem to have been resolved. I personally do not like Miami, but the Hyatt was certainly comfortable for the two days I was there... more
