In May 2008 we chose this accommodation for several days in Granada. Cost was $80 for a triple room. This converted colonial house with courtyards had modern amenities such as AC, pool and even WiFi. We stayed at Patio del Malinche for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. All the employees at PDM are extremely helpful and full of smiles and recommendations of places to see, and things to do. We left this hotel today and were sorry we had to go. All of the staff were wonderful and it is a beautifully developed colonial building. We loved staying here. It is a renovated colonial hacienda in a perfect location in a delightful town. The room was a bit small. We usually pay a bit more for a hotel, but there are no quality hotels in Granada. But bearing in mind the price, Patio del Malinche is excellent value. I stayed at this hotel for 6 days at the end of May 2008. The good points first, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the air conditioning was modern split system and really cooled the room down and the cable tv on offer had numerous english channels with even a german channel. According to many people we met in Granada, this hotel is the best in the city. If you are used to 5 star resorts, this is not the place for you (which applies to Granada as a whole).
