Minimalist shouldn't mean uncomfortable! The furnishings were spartan and cheap (fake wood grained furniture and plastic sheeting for lamp shades--not stylish, just cheap!). Our suitcases had to sit on the floor because there was only one luggage caddy and no other surface to use.
