My husband and I checked in late on a Thursday night for a long weekend in Baltimore. We didn't use the valet parking as there were two garages next door. (Use the one right next door...over night parking is cheaper!) Jennifer checked us in and was very nice and pleasant. She gave us a room on the 23rd floor. The... more

Thank you for the feedback about the Tremont Plaza Hotel! We are certainly proud of our large, new Fitness Center that debuted at the end of May. As the reviewer stated, besides the usual cardio equipment (with personal television screens) and free weights, we also offer a pilates room! The reviewer pointed out that our guestrooms are quite spacious (our...

Upon check-in, Front Desk staff was not able to accommodate our request for 2 beds. Instead, we were given a room (#1109) with one bed and a very uncomfortable sofa-sleeper. The floor was very moist and pretty gross. We did not feel safe taking off our shoes until actually in the bed. The TV also turned on/off on its own... more

We were in Baltimore to see the Red Sox games a few weeks ago and stayed three nights at the Tremont Plaza. We had a super early flight on a Sunday, but we were not able to check into the room early. We were able to leave luggage and go off to explore the city. Upon return to the hotel... more

We appreciate the time and effort taken to write such a comprehensive and balanced review! We apologize for the check-in delay. On the night prior to your arrival, all of our Studio Suites were sold, and we had to wait until guests checked out from those room types. That is why you witnessed guests staying in One Bedroom Suites and...

After reading many poor reviews, I was a little nervous coming to the Tremont Plaza. We got the room on Hotwire for less than $100, which was a bargain given the Yankees were in town. After spending two nights. here we would stay here again. The room was very nice, updated and in good shape. The kitchenette was had a... more

Thank you for a terrific review of the Tremont Plaza! We're very proud of our hard-working staff, the city's finest hotel employees. Our pride is evident in both our interaction with guests and the behind-the-scenes work that sometimes goes unseen but leads to our everyday success. You highlighted our location just a few blocks north of the Inner Harbor, in...

We had a fine time at Treemont. Stayed there two nights for a wedding, despite future reviews I would recommend the hotel. The pool on the 4th floor is cute, small, but a nice outside hotel. When I arrived the lobby was packed and there was only one staff member behind the desk, but she was going as fast as... more

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Tremont Plaza with other travelers. You mentioned that the ktchenettes at the Plaza are perfect for leftovers; I wanted to take a few moments to let other folks know what our kitchenettes entail, because what we incluse in our suites costs extra in other hotels or simply is...

Well, arrived at this hotel with big expectations and left with regrets. We had booked for 2 nights after spending a week in NYC and found the check in quick and efficient, we were assigned to our room on the 28th floor, great view, it was a double suite, beds were fine, clean and comfortable, however the room was dated,... more

I am certainly sorry to learn about your less-than-ideal experience, particularly concerning payment of the room. I suspect you were using a debit card based on your description of what happened after your stay. We have signs posted at each terminal describing what funds are held if a debit card is used, as your bank will automatically deduct the amount...

I have to say I was very excited to attend the 4th of July in Baltimore. My wife did some research and found the Tremont Plaza fit our needs. We needed a two bedroom suite since we were traveling with my in-laws who are elderly. Now onto our experience. We arrived at the hotel at 4pm, the check-in time that... more

Let me begin by saying all the below comments were brought to the attention of hotel staff and management on numerous occasions and nothing was done. Getting the Reservation: Recently I had a group stay at the Tremonts. We had four rooms reserved. From the beginning there were signs of trouble. When reserving the rooms, the staff was very rude.... more

I had a great stay at the Tremont recently. I was in Baltimore for a training event, and a block of rooms at the Tremont was reserved for us. So I can't speak to the reservation process, but I can offer a review on the rest. I was very happily surprised with the size of the room. Mine had separate... more

Thank you for your review, and for deomstrating an excellent feature of the Tremont Plaza. Our Premier One Bedroom Suites average over 700 square feet, and feature a bedroom with one king or one queen bed, a spacious living room, a game table with chairs for dining, and a kitchenette. We assign these rooms for long-term stays because having this...

Booked this hotel through Priceline for 5 nights while we were in town to watch some baseball games. Was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised by what we got. We arrived at the Baltimore train station and decided to walk to the hotel since it was a nice day. Its about 12-15 blocks... more

Thank you for the great comments! We're glad you enjoyed your stay. I just wanted to touch on one of your comments to highlight its importance. Most hotels offer rooms with two full size/ double beds as their 2-bedded option. Not so at the Tremont Plaza! Each and every one of our 88 Studio Suites with Two Queen Beds offers...
