Inn of the Turquoise Bear is Santa Fe's hidden gem. This B & B was referred to us by friends and we were elated when we went. There are many rooms to choose from in a variety of price ranges. The Inn offers breakfast (they call it continental, but it is truly FULL) with a wide variety of choices. They... more

I have stayed at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear for the past several years and have enjoyed it everytime. The two owners are great hosts and the staff is very friendly. The breadfasts are very filling served in a great room. Have never seen a bug in the several rooms I've stayed in. The Inn is within walking distance... more

We've stayed here a few times, about once per year over the last few years. Every stay has been great. We usually pick a different room which is fun. Robert recommended Ten Thousand Waves for massages, which was fantastic. The Inn is pet friendly for those traveling with cats and dogs. There are two big dogs that are present during... more

Just returned from the Southwest on a vacation that included 5 nights at this great B&B. What a wonderful experience! The Bynner house is beautiful and located in a quiet neighborhood just a 10 minute walk the the Plaza. Our room (the O'Henry Room) was small but comfortable and beautifully appointed in a classic southwest way. Breakfasts were excellent with... more

A requst was made to Inn staff by loved ones to have wine and cake waiting in the room for our families arrival. The staff actually went off property (even though they have wine on site) and purchased the four bottles of reds (paying attention to the dry labels and even calling when a valpolichella couldn't be found at the... more

I went with my boyfriend for a romantic new years eve getaway, and Inn of the Turquoise Bear was the perfect place. The rooms are simply lovely, the ambiance is romantic and very "Santa Fe". A great historic place, one could imagine all the luminaries who stayed there in the 1920s, 30s, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful, and... more

My husband and I are artists and educators, living in Trinidad Colorado. We traveled to Santa Fe and Taos during spring break this year to begin gathering materials for a new college course we are developing. We stayed at the Turquoise Bear for two nights, and were deeply impressed with the history and ambiance of the Witter Bynner house! The... more

It is a wonderful place with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Our room was the DH Lawrence room. This had a bedroom and adjoining siting room. It was perfect for a couple.... more

My husband and I always stay at the Turqoise Bear when we are in Santa Fe--at least a couple of times a year, and for several days at a time. We have been devoted guests, almost since the TB opened. When you have the best, why look any further? There are so many aspects of the Turquoise Bear to like.... more

If you are expecting to go to Santa Fe and stay in the Waldorf Astoria, I suggest that you go to New York where you can find the original. Santa Fe is about adobe, Spanish culture dating from the early 1600's and Pueblo cultures older than Spain itself. You want to stay in a delightful inn that is in harmony... more
