We (a family of four) have just returned from a week at the Sheraton Waikiki and was disappointed. The hotel has a great location and good staff, but it currently has so many little issues that make it not worth the stay. First, it is crowded and it can take upto 15 minutes just to get an elevator to the... more

Amazing ocean front view. Rooms are a bit small with no dressers for putting your clothes away. Two double beds instead of queen beds. The balconies don't offer much privacy, as you can actually reach out and touch the people on either side of you. more

We stayed there for 6 nites on Feb 2008. We love it. The location is very good. It's so closed to the Waikiki Beach and the shopping centers. The room is so nice and clean. The service is good. They have free entertainment too. Their staff are so nice, we arrived almost 11pm and they upgraded our room to front... more

I earned this trip for free, so the lodging choice wasn't up to me. Thankfully, our room was clean (although on the small side--I'd hate to see this room with two doubles in it instead of a king!), furnished beautifully (newly updated) and the view was postcard perfect of Diamondhead. The bathroom featured unique shutters that could be opened so... more

Our Sassy Magazine teen board members and staff had an incredible time at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The teen board worked very hard all school year long giving back to the community and fundraising for the end of the year weekend bonding for one last time. The staff were so very accommodating to all our 14 teens and they had... more

I just got back from a week long stay at the Sheraton Waikiki. I feel obligated to let others know about my experience since this was my first trip to Hawaii, and since it is fresh on my mind. 1) The Hotel is big. In fact, it is so big that it takes a long time to get an elevator.... more

We booked this hotel through a conference we were attending. We were a little bit anxious, as some Sheraton properties can be so/so... but this was wonderful! The hotel was well-kept, with a nice lobby and pool area. The room was fantastic... clean, comfortable bed, amazing view. We had an ocean view on the 2 2nd floor, and all you... more

We just returned from a week at the Sheraton Waikiki. The hotel was very nice and the central location was great. The room was new and clean. The views were spectacular. The elevators were fast. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. more

So, on our honeymoon to Hawaii, since we had to fly in and out of Honolulu, we decided to spend 4 nights in Waikiki and chose the Sheraton because it's one of only a few hotels right on the beach. Pros: Newly renovated rooms were clean and there was a flat screen tv on the wall. We had an oceanview... more

This is a big resort with a spectacular location and amenities that are good enough to keep it competitive. Pros: location (on the beach, in the epicenter of Waikiki) meant there were tons of folks around. There's a real buzz to the place, even if it's a bit manufacturered, centered around shopping and contrived resort activities. It's a big hotel... more
