Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites

Very pleasant stay

Although we did not stay at the Camelot in order to go to Disneyland, we did want to be close to Downtown Disney for after our conference. That turned out to be great, as it’s a short walk away. The room we had consisted of two rooms and three beds plus a couch, so it’s great for a small group. The downside if your group is women is only one sink at the vanity and poor lighting everywhere else. Also, the breakfast is just a couple of cereals and some danishes. Maybe there was fruit, I don’t remember. We just got coffee. Some bread and jam and a toaster would have been nice. And some hard-boiled eggs or something. I mean, if you’re going to say you offer breakfast. Overall, though, the size of the room and the proximity to Disneyland makes it worthwhile. I will stay there again.

Bare bones budget hotel. "Breakfast" danish (low quality) and coffee (fair). Did not meet my expectations.

I plan to stay there again next time I visit Disneyland. Very convenient to walk to Disneyland. Nice, clean room.

Can’t beat the convienent location across from Disneyland and the all day free parking, was an additional savings. Very satisfied with the room as well.

Problems from the beginning

Problems from the beginning started when we Had a broken coffee maker and the it took them 2 days to decide to replace a non working refrigerator , in short the drinks we brought with us were not cold by the next day , so there so called maintanance man looked at Yeh right .... I called and told them I wanted a New unit , they brought one up. The coffee tasted nansty well at least the frig worked ok when we left , but not like a regular frig as they told me .. In short the elevators are outside and when we left we had trouble finding a luggage cart I had to go to the front desk and order one , the place looks run down as Example: the paint on elevator area chipped , not kept up!

Good location

It was a nice hotel, right across from the maingate to Disneyland. It was cleanw/ basic ammenities. You could see the fireworks in Disney from the balcony. The beds were REALLY uncomfortable.

Good place for a family

Camelot is a good place to stay for a family. It is close to the park, a few places to eat close to the hotel, and the pool isn’t too deep for kids (3.5 ft).

Some nicer restaurants are a few blocks away at the GardenWalk (Cal. Pizza Kitchen, PF Changs, McCormick & Schmicks, etc.)

Great location

We stayed in the family suite as we had 6 people in our group. Very roomy! I liked that I didnt have to ask for extra towels and pillows for our large group. My 1yr old granddaughter was with us so the location is perfect for a nice afternoon break from Disneyland then back to the park. Has mini kitchenette; mini fridge and microwave. The microwave was a little small but still able to heat her bottle.No driving just walk 1/2 block down and cross street.

Excellent Economy Hotel Near Disneyland Entrance

If you are looking to save a couple bucks on the hotel room, then this hotel should be at the top of the list. No bells and whistles at this hotel, but it meets all the standards: twin queens, tv, fridge, and working AC unit. There is also a laundry room for extended stays, a couple gift shops, and complimentary breakfasts. The huge plus for this hotel is that it is literally a 10 min walk to the Disneyland/CA Adventure entrance. There are also many choices of inexpensive restuarants within walking distance of this hotel: IHOP, Dennys, McDonalds, Quiznos, and Tony Romas. The front desk service was excellent and friendly. I highly reccomend this hotel to the frugal traveler. Enjoy!

Closer than I expected to Disneyland entrance

Did not experience any problems with noise from other rooms or from being so close to the highway. About a 10 min. walk from Disney entrance. Close to Denny’s, McDonalds & other places to eat. Quite a few within walking distance. Parking was adequate & not having to pay extra for it helps. Room was clean & comfortable & larger than most places I’ve stayed at. I would stay there again.

Excellent value

Clean, quiet, and very close to Disneyland entrance. Several restaurants are also close by. Free parking and wireless internet connection. Excellent value.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Visit Disneyland early - try to get there before the gates open. The park is much easier to navigate before 10:00AM. We stayed until 11:30 AM, went back to the hotel for lunch and to rest for a couple of hours, then went back to Disneyland in the evening. It’s much better to break up the day this way. And use FASTPASS whenever you can.

Great Location

I loved the location since we were going to Disneyland. The only complaint I had was the beds were too hard and the pillows were almost non existant! Fluffier pillows would be nice!

Good not great

Excellent location (5 mins walk to Disney; lots of places to eat) BUT that’s it!! Laundry room only has 3 washers & dryers (need to wait at least 3 hours to complete), worst breakfast ever had. 3 star hotel ???????????????? NO WAY!! MAX 2 1/2 star hotel

Had a great Time! Definitely Would go Back!

Our family had a great time at this hotel! We were very impressed with the employees, the room, and the location to Disneyland. We also loved the continental breakfast in the morning. Just enough food and drink to get you buy until lunch, really good. Everynight that we weren’t at Disneyland watching the fireworks, we were at our hotel watching them from our hotel room. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well maintained. This hotel also had two little shops that we stopped at every morning to pick up waters, sunscreen, etc. And the prices at the shop were reasonable.

Good for the family

We got a double suite and it has lots of space. It is perfect for a family. After a long day at Disneyland, it offers a quiet place to rest. It is perfect to walk to the parks.

Skip the offered breakfast. Is not really good.

Will stay again!

Perfect location right across the street from the park’s main entrance which saved us having to drive and pay for parking. Close to restaurants, and easy access to the freeways. Clean, affordable and convenient! We will stay here again if we are in the area!

Very impressed

Reserved rooms from an internet picture and wasn’t sure what they REALLY looked like! We were pleasantly surprised--very comfortable, clean, had everything you needed and didn’t have to drive or walk very far for anything else! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

The suite is great

We stayed in the suite in order for our children to take naps and go to bed earlier than us. It was soooo roomy and worked out well for our needs. The hotel’s location is perfect for walking to the parks. It was a super short, easy walk (even in the rain). I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay near Disneyland.

We took advantage of the mini fridge and micro and packed lunches and provided heartier breakfasts for our family to avoid extra spending at Disneyland.

Clean and comfortable.

Directly across from Disneyland, and easy 20 minute walk to convention center. Clean and comfortable room. Hotel staff knowledgeable and helpful. Skip the breakfast, plenty of restaurants nearby, and McDonald’s right next door. Other than hearing other families yelling kids (every night on their return from the theme park), we were completely satisfied and will return.

Affordable and Dependable

We stayed at the hotel as part of a one-day visit to Disneyland. The best feature of the hotel is its location - no more than a five minute walk to the main entry into Disneyland. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to see the fireworks from our room. McDonalds is next door which makes for some additional noise. Good choice for families on a budget who are just looking for a clean room to sleep in.
