Outstanding food, comfortable accommodation, friendly service would highly recommend

We have stayed in many B & B's in Ireland, this was by far the best.
From the moment we arrived until we left the service was fabulous, as was the room, the lovely parlor for wonderful afternoon tea and fresh scones and less I forget dinner was also superb. If you're planning a golfing tour to the southwest of Ireland, the accomodations don't come any better than Michael and Geraldine Rosney's Kileen House. It is the ideal haven for serious golfers. I spent five nights here recently. Our group of eight played all of the top courses in the area: Waterville, Old Head, Tralee, Ballybunion and finally Lahinch. We all agreed that the best restaurant in Killarney was the dining room at Killeen House. The staff are incredibly friendly and accomodating. Enjoy a cocktail and a cigar in the gazebo overlooking the lovely Irish countryside. Killeen House is just a short 5 minute drive from Killarney town and most courses are within 1-2 hours of the hotel. Rooms are bright, fresh and spacious. It's fun to meet golfers from other parts of the world in the cozy pub that is the heart of the hotel. Check out the collection of golf balls from hundreds of clubs and courses left by grateful customers. Can't wait to return!

We just came back from a three-night stay at Killeen House Hotel, and although our expectations were very high, based on all the comments and the ranking on TripAdvisor, these were even exceeded. From the moment we contacted the property a few months ago, until the moment we left, everything has been outstanding. Both Geraldine and Michael go out of their way to make you feel at home, even with a four-year old running and playing all over the house. The staff is amazing as well, especially Charles, who was extremely attentive with us every evening. We had to drive four hours from Dublin to get to this charming hotel, but if we ever go back to Ireland, we will do it all over again!!!!
