Stayed for three nights while attending a meeting at the Anaheim Convention Center. The place looks nice from the outside, and it's just about 2 blocks from the convention center (and just as close to Disneyland). Rooms were ok - there's a kitchenette with a full-size fridge. The bed was firm and comfortable. The place was inexpensive (around $75/night), and the whole chain is apparently built around a model of not providing daily service to the rooms (you can take your towels to the front desk and exchange them for clean ones.) This is fine, but in the case of my room they hadn't completely cleaned it before I'd arrived - there was a big can of garbage under the sink (real garbage - smelly leftover food), as well as something in the microwave that a previous occupant had re-heated and then forgotten. The place had a strong smell of some kind of cleaner/disinfecant - I got used to it and stopped noticing it after 10 minutes or so, but someone with a more sensitive nose might object. Bathroom was simple but functional - showerhead is pretty high (important for taller people), and the water didn't seem to be as 'soft' as many hotel chains. Internet access is pretty good - wifi in the rooms (802.11g - good reception in my room), $5 for the whole stay, speeds were decent, VPN worked fine. Walls are thin - TV, conversations and various late-night activities by your neighbors are all easily heard. No wake-up calls (but an alarm clock in the room). Rooms have irons, but hair dryers must be borrowed from the desk. Parking is free.
Overall, a mixed bag. The price is good, but more of a budget feel than you'd expect from the nice exterior. Not exactly a professional/biz-traveller clientelle. Probably if you've got some quiet neighbors it would be above average.
